In the first 6 months of 2025, the entire inspection sector transferred 118 cases and 49 subjects to the investigation agency for further review and handling.

On July 11, the Government Inspectorate held a conference to review the work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

Permanent Deputy Inspector General Tran Duc Thang said that the Government Inspectorate has organized a "90-day and night campaign" focusing on implementing the General Secretary's conclusions on resolving complicated complaints and denunciations that have been prolonged and passed down to the central level in Hanoi.

As a result, according to the Standing Deputy Inspector General, 203 out of 226 cases have been basically resolved (reaching a rate of 89.8%). In the remaining 23 cases, there are 7 cases of citizens filing lawsuits in court and 16 cases with difficulties and problems.

The report shows that the situation of complaints and denunciations tends to decrease, only increasing at certain times during the holidays, Central and National Assembly sessions.

The number of people coming to state administrative agencies to make complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections decreased by 2.8%, but the number of large groups increased by 5.4% compared to the same period last year.

The number of complaints, denunciations, and complaints under its authority tends to decrease, but the number of denunciations under its authority increases (increases by 8.1%).

The report for the first 6 months of 2025 shows that there were more than 159 thousand people coming to state administrative agencies to complain, denounce, make recommendations, and reflect on more than 117,000 cases, including 1,453 large groups.

State administrative agencies at all levels have handled 12,323 out of a total of 16,125 complaints and denunciations under their authority, reaching a rate of 76.4%.

Thereby, it has recommended recovering 12.4 billion VND to the state; returning 10 billion VND to organizations and individuals; restoring and ensuring the rights of 6 organizations and 243 individuals; recommending the handling of 224 people (including 202 cadres and civil servants); transferring 4 cases and 2 subjects (including 1 cadre and civil servant) to the investigation agency to continue handling.

Implementing the direction of the Central Steering Committee on corruption prevention and control, the Government Inspectorate directly inspected the two construction projects of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Hospital, Facility 2; issued inspection conclusions in accordance with the conclusions of the Steering Committee.

Notably, although the number of specialized inspections and examinations decreased by 31.7%, the amount of violations discovered through inspections increased by 28.8%, the number of cases transferred to investigation agencies increased by 48.7% over the same period in 2024.

A summary report from 10 ministries, branches and 61 localities shows that in the first 6 months of 2025, the whole industry has conducted 2,799 administrative inspections and 39,533 specialized inspections and examinations.

Through inspection, management has been rectify, perfecting mechanisms and legal policies in many fields; detecting economic violations of VND 129,888 billion, 722 hectares of land; in which, it is recommended to reclaim VND 101,519 and 617 hectares of land.

The entire inspection sector has recommended reviewing and handling 671 collectives and 2,596 individuals administratively; transferring 118 cases and 49 subjects to the investigation agency for further reviewing and handling.

In addition to the achieved results, according to Standing Deputy Inspector General Tran Van Thang, there are still limitations in the work of receiving people, handling complaints and denunciations.

Many key tasks in the last 6 months of the year have been identified by the Government Inspectorate and the Inspectorate.

Mr. Tran Van Thang also said that in the last 6 months of 2025, the Government Inspectorate and the inspection sector will organize a preliminary review of the inspection, review, and settlement of complicated, pending, and prolonged complaints and denunciations.
