On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, with deep respect and boundless gratitude, I respectfully send to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, veterans, former People's Police, former youth volunteers, people participating in the resistance war and all people with meritorious services to the country my warmest regards, deepest feelings and the most sincere gratitude.
Through thousands of years of building and defending the country, every inch of land of the Vietnamese country is soaked in sweat, blood, will and long-term aspirations of many generations of Lac Hong descendants. The Vietnamese nation will forever remember the merits, sacrifices, and contributions of ancestors and predecessors; respectfully remember great President Ho Chi Minh, revolutionary warriors, heroic martyrs and outstanding children of the nation who dedicated their youth, private happiness, part of their bodies and even their lives to the independence of the Fatherland, the freedom of the People, to the noble ideals of the Party and the long-lasting future of the nation.
Nearly a century under the glorious flag of the Communist Party of Vietnam, generations of comrades and compatriots have braved prisons, bombs and bullets, hardships and sacrifices, resiliently going through the most fierce challenges of history. Some have returned with wounds carried with them throughout their lives; some have laid down their lives on the battlefield, in the mountains and forests, rivers and seas, or in the heart of mother earth, but have not yet determined their resting place. Wherever they are, the comrades have transformed into magnificent mountains and rivers, becoming bright Stars leading the way, illuminating the path of national independence, socialism and the aspiration for prosperous and happy development of the country; they are the foundational bricks, the most sustainable building of the Vietnamese revolutionary stronghold, the foundation for our nation to have the foundation, potential, position and international prestige as today.
The sacrifice and dedication of generations of fathers and brothers has made national history more glorious, fostering Vietnamese bravery, character and strength through all eras. The blood of heroic martyrs has further embellished the color of the national flag; the names of the martyrs can be engraved on the tombstones or not yet written, but the soul, spirit and prestige of the comrades will forever exist with the Vietnamese country, living in the hearts of the people and shining in the country's development journey.
War invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the country will forever be a sacred and inseparable part of the nation and of the revolutionary cause. Gratitude is a thousand-year morality of the Vietnamese nation, a political responsibility, an order from the heart and honor of every Vietnamese person. The most meaningful thing to remember those who have contributed and sacrificed is to continue to preserve the revolutionary achievements, build a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam, firmly moving towards socialism. That is the steadfast promise of today's generation to previous generations; so that the sacrifices and contributions of comrades and compatriots will forever shine in the sky of the Fatherland, guiding the Vietnamese nation to firmly step into a new era of development.
On this occasion, I also warmly commend officers, soldiers, veterans, experts, scientists, historical witnesses, all levels, sectors, localities and compatriots across the country who are day and night searching for, repatriating, and identifying martyrs' remains. "The 500-day and night campaign to promote the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs' remains" is a command from the heart, a military operation in peacetime to search for those who have created peace, a continuation of the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source," "Gratitude" of the nation. I thank the people of the whole country, I commend and respectfully acknowledge the spirit of responsibility, dedication and initial results of the forces participating in the Campaign. I hope comrades will maintain their will, belief and responsibility; overcome difficulties, bring more martyrs back to their homeland, families and comrades.
I propose that Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the business community and the people continue to accompany and realize gratitude work with specific support and preferential policies, focusing on vocational training, job creation, and improving stable and sustainable income, helping wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious services to continue to rise up and get rich for themselves, their families and society.
Wishing Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, heroes, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, veterans, people with meritorious services to the revolution and their families always healthy and happy. Wishing officers, soldiers, forces and people participating in the "Operation 500 Days and Nights" to always be united, overcome all difficulties, and excellently complete their tasks.
