Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just sent a telegram to the Minister of Finance on the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for May 2025.
The Prime Minister's telegram stated: In order to create conditions for the people and workers to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), reunify the country, and implement the social security policy and stimulate consumer demand, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance to direct Vietnam Social Insurance:
Implement well the settlement and payment of social insurance and unemployment insurance regimes to ensure full, timely and in accordance with regulations for beneficiaries.
Urgently organize the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for May 2025 from April 25 to April 28.
According to current regulations, monthly pension and social insurance benefits are paid as follows:
- Payment at payment points: From the 2nd to the 10th of the month, organize payment at least 6 hours/day at all payment points; only end payment before the 10th for points that have paid all beneficiaries according to the list sent by the social insurance agency.
- Payment at the transaction point of the District Post Office: From the 11th of the month, continue to pay at the payment points that are post office transaction points until the 25th of the month.
