On the evening of December 2, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation attended the 60th Anniversary of Binh Gia Victory organized by the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Also attending were representatives of leaders of central and local departments, ministries and branches; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, revolutionary veterans, generals in the People's Armed Forces; former leaders of the Party and State, veterans who participated in the Binh Gia Campaign and a large number of people in Chau Duc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent his respectful greetings, sincere regards and best wishes to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the Armed Forces, veteran revolutionaries, leaders and former leaders of the Central and local governments... and people in the area.
According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the Binh Gia victory had great strategic significance, affirming the all-round development of the Southern revolution; fundamentally defeating the US's "Special War" strategy and creating important premises for subsequent victories.
Researching and creatively and effectively applying valuable lessons from the Binh Gia Victory has many important meanings and values for the revolutionary cause of our Party and nation.
"We need to further promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, extraordinary creativity, the spirit of self-reliance, determination, daring to think, daring to do, and Vietnamese mettle and intelligence to overcome all difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities, comprehensively promote the innovation process, and firmly build and defend the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new era," Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized.
After the ceremony, there was a special art program with the theme "60 years of the heroic victory of Binh Gia" with 3 chapters: The call of the country; The heroic victory; Pride of the heroic homeland.
