On the afternoon of December 29, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and spoke at the conference summarizing the work of the diplomatic sector in 2025 and orientations and tasks for 2026.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that Vietnam's foreign affairs are very successful and in this common achievement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs plays a very important role.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh summarized the results of Vietnam's foreign affairs and diplomacy in 6 keywords: "Streamlined apparatus, timely adaptation, effective creativity, expanded cooperation, enhanced position, development creation".
Regarding the implementation of directions and tasks in the coming time, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh thoroughly grasped the 6-word motto: "Precise advice, flexible adaptation, timely rotation, effective transformation, community responsibility, stable development".
Believing that foreign affairs work is an extremely difficult and arduous task but also very glorious and worthy of pride, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh wished that diplomatic officials must promote the 24 words: "Loyalty, dedication, confidence, creativity, flexible bravery, persuasive negotiation, top efficiency, Fatherland above all".
The Prime Minister pointed out that with a 80-year history, Vietnam's diplomatic sector has achieved many successes, with very large achievements, for the country to have a peaceful, cooperative, and developed environment.
The Prime Minister expressed his belief in "talented men and talented women", the "golden generation" of the diplomatic sector and emphasized: "I am sure that our diplomatic sector is worthy of the people's expectations, the trust of the Party and the State, promoting self-respect, pride and confidence so that we can make the diplomatic sector increasingly radiant, increasingly achieving greater victories.
Speaking to receive the direction of the Prime Minister, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Minister Le Hoai Trung emphasized that the achievements of the diplomatic sector from the beginning of the 13th term of the Party to now have always been associated with the leadership, direction, and wisdom of the Party Central Committee, directly and regularly the Politburo, the Secretariat, headed by the General Secretary, the drastic, correct and effective direction and administration of the Government headed by the Prime Minister.
Thanking the opinions shared at the conference, Minister Le Hoai Trung said: "We listen seriously, fully acknowledge and will also seriously study the opinions of the comrades to strengthen more effective coordination, striving to implement the tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the people.
At the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son and representatives of leaders of ministries and sectors performed the opening ceremony of the Database on International Treaties built and managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
