The third discussion session of the G20 Summit has the theme "A fair and equitable future for all people", chaired by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, G20 Chair in 2025.
At the Conference, the Prime Minister and leaders discussed emerging issues of strategic significance to the development of countries, especially strategic minerals, sustainable jobs, and artificial intelligence.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed South Africa's choice of the theme "Strategic minerals, sustainable jobs and artificial intelligence", reflecting the three major changes in the world today: Green transformation, digital transformation and population - labor transformation.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the explosion of science and technology, especially artificial intelligence, is reshaping international production methods and labor assignments, creating a huge demand for energy and strategic minerals.
This is an opportunity for countries to make a breakthrough but also has many potential risks of supply chain disruption and management backwardness, requiring a common global effort, especially the pioneering role of the G20.
To contribute to creating a fair, equal and equitable future for countries and people around the world, the Prime Minister shared three strategic priorities.

First, build a fair, equal, stable, transparent strategic mineral partnership, "harmonious benefits, shared risks", strive to promote cooperation, form and diversify sustainable mineral supply chains, develop deep processing industries, high technology, recycling and quality, sustainable employment to meet environmental, social and governance standards.
Second, create a breakthrough in training high-quality human resources associated with the development of a modern, effective and sustainable job market.
The Prime Minister called on the G20 to prioritize support and create favorable conditions for developing countries to participate and benefit from educational cooperation initiatives; reduce barriers, promote cooperation; connect regional and global labor markets.
Third, building and developing an artificial intelligence ecosystem for humans without replacing humans. The Prime Minister suggested that the G20 pioneer in building a set of standards for fair, transparent, inclusive, safe and humane AI governance, with people at the center; support developing countries in building digital infrastructure, databases, technology ecosystems, governance and exploitation of artificial intelligence for safe, inclusive and sustainable development.
With the motto "listening, understanding; believing, acting; developing and benefiting together", the Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam is ready to cooperate closely with the G20 and the international community to implement the above strategic priorities through specific and practical cooperation programs and projects, contributing to bringing prosperity to countries and people.
The Prime Minister's shares were welcomed and highly appreciated by the Conference.
The summit approved a Joint Statement of Leaders and transferred the role of G20 Chair from South Africa to the US.
The participation of the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has contributed positively to the overall success of the Conference, while highlighting the image of a dynamic, strong, proactive Vietnam that actively contributes to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
