On the afternoon of March 24, at the Government headquarters, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a dialogue with Vietnamese youth in 2025 with the theme "Vietnamese youth pioneers in developing science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation".
In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the spirit of creating conditions to maximize the capacity of each person, creating the most favorable conditions for each person to pursue their passion, ambition, and strengths, whoever has strengths and strengths, and whoever has a "land of war".
The head of the Government stated that today's youth is the generation born in the era of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
Youth is identified as a shock force, the core, a force with limitless creativity, the ability to quickly access and master research, development, science and technology transfer, innovation, start-ups and national digital transformation.
In recent times, Vietnamese youth have affirmed their pioneering role in developing science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
Of which, nearly 1.6 thousand activities have been deployed, supporting nearly 96,000 youth union members to start creative startups; realizing nearly 59,000 ideas and initiatives with a total support value of nearly 111 billion VND; the mobile application "Vietnam Youth" with 11 million users.
In preserving and promoting the national cultural identity, young people take the lead in digitizing data on cultural heritages and red addresses; creating many online platforms to introduce traditional arts such as Cheo, Tuong, Cai Luong.
Many young artists have combined and incorporated folk music with contemporary music, attracting a record number of viewers.
The Prime Minister mentioned the work "Bac Bling" (Bac Ninh), contributing to the international development of an advanced culture imbued with the identity of the Vietnamese people to the world and the national development of human civilization to our country.
The Prime Minister raised 3 requirements and "reserved" for Vietnamese youth.
First, Vietnamese youth have said they must do it, committed to doing it, have made more efforts and then made more efforts, determined and then made even higher determination, determined and then determined more, pioneering and then pioneering more.
Developing science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation is not only a task but also an opportunity for young people to demonstrate their mettle, intelligence, and aspiration to contribute to building a rich, civilized, and prosperous developing country.
Second, Vietnamese youth must have a creative mindset, act decisively and strongly, and realize aspirations with specific and effective products and projects. Take advantage of opportunities, respond to appropriate, flexible and effective policies.
Third, Vietnamese youth must promote the spirit of "no pride in winning, no failure in getting reckless"; must have the mindset of "turning non-successful into something, turning difficult into easy, turning impossible into possible thing".
Youth should keep "Inward - Bright Intelligence - Great Aspiration", think deeply to do great things, look far and wide; value time, intelligence, and decisiveness at the right time; strive to overcome your own limits to constantly contribute to your homeland and country.
In the following meetings, exchanges and dialogues, the Prime Minister hopes that the positive and strong new changes from models and activities initiated by Vietnamese youth will be seen more clearly, the later dialogue will achieve higher results than the previous dialogue.
