On the evening of August 27, at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, a state-level preliminary review of the Commemoration Ceremony, parade, and parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2 (mission A80).
Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the work and encouraged and presented gifts to the forces.

This is a preliminary review before entering the rehearsal, preparing to perform the official task in the grand ceremony that will take place on National Day, September 2.
Attending and directing the preliminary approval were Politburo members: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of the country in the 3 years 2023-2025; General Phan Van Giang - Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security.
Also attending were: Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of the country in the 3 years 2023-2025.


The preliminary approval session at Ba Dinh Square took place from 8:00 p.m.
to late at night, including two parts: Performing the rituals and rituals of the Party and State and parading and parade; with the participation of nearly 16,000 officers and soldiers, including 43 infantry blocks (26 Army blocks, 17 Police blocks) along with foreign military blocks, 18 standing blocks, 14 military artillery blocks, special forces of the Army and Police.The program began with a torch-raising ceremony, lighting up a fire extinguished - a symbol of the aspiration of the Vietnamese people.The lanterns were awarded to Lieutenant General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Duc Soat - former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, who had an outstanding achievement in shooting down 6 enemy aircraft, becoming one of the heroic pilots of the Vietnam People's Army.

This preliminary approval has the participation of three foreign military groups, including: the Russian Federation, Laos and Cambodia.
After the preliminary review session on the evening of August 27, the parade and parade groups will continue to be reviewed at the State level on the morning of August 30, before officially participating in the parade and parade at 6:00 a.m. on September 2.
