Prime Minister disciplines 2 former leaders of Bac Giang province with a warning

The Prime Minister shall impose disciplinary action on the former Chairman and former Standing Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

On July 14, 2026, Politburo Member, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc signed 2 decisions of the Prime Minister on disciplinary action against the former Chairman and former Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

In Decision No. 1275/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to impose disciplinary action in the form of a Warning on Mr. Nguyen Van Linh - former Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term due to violations and shortcomings in his work and the Central Inspection Committee has imposed Party discipline.

The time for disciplinary action is calculated from the date Decision No. 67-QD/UBKTTW dated May 22, 2026 of the Central Inspection Committee takes effect.

At the same time, in Decision No. 1276/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to impose disciplinary action in the form of a Warning on Mr. Lai Thanh Son - former Standing Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term - for having violations and shortcomings in his work and the Central Inspection Committee has imposed Party discipline.

The time for disciplinary action is calculated from the date Decision No. 68 QD/UBKTTW dated May 22, 2026 of the Central Inspection Committee takes effect.

The above 2 decisions take effect from the date of signing (July 14, 2026).
