The parade is the most important of the activities to celebrate India's Republic Day held annually in the capital New Delhi.
Participating in the parade were representatives of the Indian armed forces, local governments, and people from all walks of life with unique cultural performances.
On this occasion, with the presence of ASEAN leaders, ASEAN flags and flags of 10 member countries were flown in the parade, along with billboards and posters promoting the cultural and civilized link between India and ASEAN countries.
