On April 3, Cua Ong Coal Selection Company held a ceremony to attach a signboard for the project "System for controlling and automating Coal Selection Factory 2" to celebrate the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, term 2025-2030.
The Control and Automation System of Coal Selection Plant 2 is one of 11 key projects recognized as a project to celebrate the 4th Group Party Congress.
Cua Ong Coal Selection Factory 2, built in 1980. After many years of operation, the control equipment system has been outdated, so the company decided to invest in phase 1 "Control and automation system of Coal Selection Plant 2" with a budget of 89 billion VND, which has been completed and put into use since February 2023.
From July 2024, the company will continue to invest in the Control and Automation System of the Coal Selection Plant 2 phase 2 with a budget of more than 94 billion VND.
In phase 2, the project will deploy the installation of sensors, PLC cabinets, bientors, cutting machines, and industrial wifi systems. Upgrade and complete the control program system and SCADA to automate the settling system and invest in new silencing equipment. Connecting the control system of the Input Coal Supply Supply Center with the control and automation system of Phase 1.
Renovate and automate the system for screening machines, pumps and conveyor belts, product storage holes and flip-side mechanisms; install high-altitude external pink cameras to monitor operating equipment areas. Renovate the automation system of ES1 power station and distribution power stations. Renovate the radio system for production operations.
This is a project of great significance in implementing the goal of Mechanization, automation, informatics and digitalization of TKV Group, contributing to improving working conditions for employees, ensuring stability and improving production efficiency of Cua Ong Coal Selection Company.
