On the afternoon of May 23, at the Special National Relic Hang Tam Co - Road 20 Quyet Thang in Thuong Trach commune, Quang Tri province, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and the Central working delegation came to pay respects to heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed for the peace of the nation.
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and the working delegation offered flowers and incense to express gratitude and observed a minute of silence, remembering and expressing gratitude to the heroic martyrs.
Earlier, on the same morning, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and a delegation from the Central Government, local authorities and representatives of leaders of Savannakhet and Khammouane provinces (Laos) attended the Ceremony to pay respects, commemorate, and bury the remains of martyrs who were Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed in Laos. 28 martyrs discovered and gathered in the dry season of 2025 - 2026 have been taken to rest at the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Road 9.
After that, the working delegation came to offer incense and flowers to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery and the special national relic Quang Tri Citadel.
