According to VNA, after more than 6 hours of flight, at 11:00 a.m. on October 27 (local time), the plane carrying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived at Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi capital, to begin an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the invitation of UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Welcoming Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation at Zayed Airport were UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Minister in charge of Talent Acquisition Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi; Vietnamese Ambassador to the UAE Nguyen Thanh Diep; Embassy staff and representatives of the Vietnamese community in the UAE.
As Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife stepped down from the plane, UAE children were waiting to present the Prime Minister and his wife with a bouquet of fresh flowers. UAE Minister of State Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi welcomed the Prime Minister and his wife on the green carpet between two rows of honor guards.

During his official visit to the UAE, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is expected to hold talks with UAE President Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rasheed Al Makhtoum. On this occasion, the two countries will upgrade their relations; many Vietnam-UAE cooperation documents will be signed.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will also receive ministers and leaders of many leading economic groups and investment funds in the UAE; attend a dialogue with Vietnamese and UAE businesses; attend the Vinfast car exhibition and introduction ceremony; deliver a policy speech at the Anwar Gargash Academy; meet with officials and staff of the Embassy and the Vietnamese community in the UAE, etc.
This is the first official visit by a Vietnamese Prime Minister to the UAE in 15 years; taking place in the context of the good development of relations between Vietnam and the UAE. The two sides have just organized many activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations in 2023.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's official visit to the UAE aims to contribute to strengthening political trust, enhancing relations, and creating breakthroughs in the relationship between the two countries in the coming time in many fields, from economics, trade, investment, to new areas of cooperation such as innovation, science, technology, energy, etc.
