On the evening of October 25, in Bangkok, Thailand, the final night of Miss Grand International 2024 ended with the overall victory belonging to Rachel Gupta, representative from India.
At the age of 22, she surpassed 68 other contestants to bring home the first crown for her country in this beauty pageant.

Standing at 1.78m tall, Rachel impresses with her charming beauty and confident demeanor.
Notably, in the final night, she chose to wear an evening gown by Vietnamese designer Thuong Gia Ky to perform.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, designer Thuong Gia Ky said the design was inspired by Garuda - the mythical bird of God Vishnu in Indian culture.
"The golden coat with blue and green accents not only symbolizes wealth and divinity but also carries a message of freedom and peace," he shared.
The dress is made with elaborate embellishment techniques on a mesh material, using thousands of crystals and sapphires in an ombre style.

The special highlight is the meticulously attached feather details, creating a luxurious yet modern beauty.
"My team spent thousands of hours perfecting every detail on the dress," designer Thuong Gia Ky revealed.
With a bold yet sophisticated cut, the design both accentuates the new beauty queen's 1m78 figure and ensures aesthetics and elegance.
The designer said the opportunity to collaborate with Rachel Gupta came through the media. The Indian beauty's team proactively contacted him and chose his design for the important final night.
"I am very happy and excited to have Rachel wear my outfit at the coronation moment. As a Vietnamese, I am proud to contribute to helping representatives shine in the international arena," designer Thuong Gia Ky expressed.

Before Thuong Gia Ky, another international beauty, Miss France Iris Mittenaere, wore an evening gown by designer Hoang Hai at the Miss Universe 2016 Finale and was crowned.
