On August 4, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung signed Decisions approving the results of the election and dismissal of the position of Chairman of Hue City People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
In Decision No. 1479/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of Hue City People's Committee for the term 2026-2031 for Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.
Previously, on July 26, 2026, at the 2nd thematic session of the 9th Hue City People's Council, term 2026-2031, with 100% of delegates present in favor, Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee for the term 2026-2031.
Mr. Le Tri Thanh, 56 years old, native of Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province (old), now Dien Ban Tay commune, Da Nang city. He holds a degree in banking, economic law, Bachelor of Politics and Master of Public Policy.
In Decision No. 1478/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the results of dismissal from the position of Chairman of Hue City People's Committee for the term 2026-2031 for Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan.
Previously, the Politburo had transferred, assigned, and appointed Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Member of the Party Central Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, holding the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.
