On April 14, 2026, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung signed decisions approving the results of the election of the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee.
In Decision No. 689/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026-2031 for Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen - Deputy Secretary of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen (born in 1975, from Ung Hoa commune, Hanoi city) has a PhD in Public Administration Management, and a Senior Political Theory level.
During his work, he held many important positions such as: Deputy Director, Director of Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment; Chairman of the District People's Committee, Secretary of Quoc Oai District Party Committee; Vice Chairman of Hanoi City People's Committee.
In March, he was transferred and appointed by the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee.
In Decision No. 679/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the results of the election of the position of Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026-2031 for:
1. Mr. Nguyen Le Huy - Member of the Standing Committee of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030, Standing Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.
2. Mr. Le Quang Hoa - Member of the Standing Committee of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.
3. Mr. Pham Van Nghiem - Member of the Executive Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030, Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.
4. Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030, Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.
5. Mr. Lai Van Hoan - Member of the Executive Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030, Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 13, at the first session of the 18th Hung Yen Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, with high consensus results, the Hung Yen Provincial People's Council elected Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026-2031;
The Vice Chairmen of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee include: Mr. Nguyen Le Huy, Le Quang Hoa, Pham Van Nghiem, Nguyen Hung Nam, Lai Van Hoan.
