Dien Bien - On April 28, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to a number of policy families and expressed gratitude to heroic martyrs.

On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and the 72nd anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2026), on April 28, Comrade Tran Cam Tu - Member of the Politburo, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat and the Central working delegation came to offer incense at the Temple of Martyrs at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield, visited National Martyrs' Cemetery A1 and visited and presented gifts to 2 policy families in Dien Bien Phu ward.

Participating in the working delegation were Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang and members of the Government's working delegation.

Immediately after arriving in Dien Bien, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and the working delegation came to offer incense at the Temple of Martyrs at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield and pay respects to heroic martyrs at National Martyrs' Cemetery A1.

At the Martyrs' Temple at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield, Comrade Tran Cam Tu and members of the delegation offered flowers, lit incense sticks, respectfully remembered and was infinitely grateful to President Ho Chi Minh, and commemorated General Vo Nguyen Giap.

At the same time, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs, the outstanding children of the nation who have glorified the country, so that today's and future generations can follow in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers, building Vietnam to become increasingly rich and strong.

Following that, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to 2 policy families in Dien Bien Phu ward, including: Ms. Vu Thi Dan (born 1925, mother of martyr Do Van Thu); family of Mr. Dinh Van Ban (born 1955, 45% wounded soldier).

At the families, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat cordially inquired about their health and life; expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of policy families in the cause of national liberation.

The comrade wished the families to continue to promote revolutionary traditions, being a bright example for the younger generation to follow. At the same time, he requested the Party committees and local authorities to continue to pay attention to and take better care of the lives of policy families in the area.
