The working delegation's activities were organized on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026).
The delegation came to offer incense to commemorate General Secretary Tran Phu at the tomb area in Duc Tho commune. Here, Comrade Tran Cam Tu and members expressed their respect for the great contributions and noble sacrifices of the first General Secretary of the Party for the revolutionary cause.
Comrade Tran Phu (1904 - 1931) was an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, a steadfast leader. Before his sacrifice, he left behind an immortal saying: "Keep your fighting spirit".
After that, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat and the working delegation came to offer incense at Nam Martyrs' Cemetery (Tu My commune) - the resting place of more than 1,300 martyrs who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the noble international duty.
The delegation offered flowers and incense in front of the monument, the altar of President Ho Chi Minh and each tomb, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs, including many volunteer soldiers who sacrificed in Laos, Cambodia and youth volunteers on the Truong Son route.

Also during the working trip, comrade Tran Cam Tu visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Minh (born 1919, Son Tien commune). Mother has a only son, martyr Le Ngoc Long (born 1941) who sacrificed in 1966 in the anti-American resistance war.
The Standing Committee of the Secretariat cordially inquired about mother's health and life and hoped that mother would continue to live happily and healthily, being a bright example for children and grandchildren, and the younger generation to follow.
