The agencies have completed the handling of many key cases according to the plan of the Steering Committee. In which, the verification and settlement of 4 cases and 36 defendants from 3 cases have been completed; 60 defendants have been prosecuted in 5 cases, 1 case/9 defendants have been concluded for investigation; 5 cases/72 defendants have been issued an indictment; completed the first instance trial of 2 key cases according to the Plan of the Steering Committee (The case occurred at Phuc Son Group; The case occurred at Thuan An Group);
Focus on prosecuting, expanding the investigation, and strictly handling criminals in the production and trading of counterfeit and poor quality goods, especially counterfeit goods related to people's health. In particular, in the case with signs of bribery and bribery crimes occurring at the Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health), up to now, the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security has prosecuted 29 defendants.
"In particular, the General Secretary emphasized that recently, the prosecution agencies have fought and destroyed many organized crimes, with collusion between subjects and criminal gangs hiding under the guise of enterprises with degraded and transformed cadres, including key leaders of some localities, including cadres in agencies with the function of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity, causing public outrage, affecting the investment and business environment and people's trust, typically the gangs in Thanh Hoa, such as: Tuan "genie" , Vi "go", Manh "wood" ... related to violations in exploitation of resources, minerals, auctions, tax evasion, bribery, bribery" - Mr. Dang Van Dung informed.
