General Secretary To Lam suggested that all staff of the Embassy in North Korea continue to promote their role as a bridge between the two countries.

Within the framework of the State visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and to attend the 80th anniversary of the founding of the North Korean Labor Party, on the morning of October 10 (local time), General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visited the Vietnamese Embassy in North Korea.

Speaking to express his pleasure at visiting the Vietnamese Embassy in North Korea and sending his warm regards, best wishes for health and happiness to the staff and family of the Embassy, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that this state visit to North Korea is a particularly important foreign activity taking place in the context of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and North Korea (31.1.1.1950 - 31.1.2025).

This is an important occasion to affirm the consistent stance of the Party, State and people of Vietnam to always attach importance to and wish to further maintain and develop the traditional friendship with the Party, State and people of North Korea.

The General Secretary shared the difficulties, commended and highly appreciated the efforts of the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in North Korea for promoting the spirit of solidarity, attachment, overcoming difficulties, and successfully completing the foreign tasks assigned by the Party and State, contributing to promoting the traditional friendship between the two countries with many new marks.

Informing about the domestic situation and noting the complicated developments in the world and the region, in order to meet the development needs of the country and further promote the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and North Korea, the General Secretary suggested that all officials and staff of the Embassy in North Korea continue to promote their role as a bridge between the two countries, promote the two sides to maintain and strengthen cooperation in areas suitable to the interests of each country, the laws and regulations of each country as well as the international community, beneficial to maintaining peace and development in the region; promote exchange activities in accordance with the needs of both sides, exchanges between the two peoples...

The General Secretary emphasized continuing to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, proactiveness and creativity to further complete foreign tasks; timely information, close coordination with domestic and local agencies; promoting the spirit of "mutual love and support" to stabilize life together.
