VNA reported that within the framework of the State visit to Korea, on the afternoon of August 10, in the capital Seoul, General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation met with members of the Vietnam Innovation Network and Vietnamese experts in Korea.
This is an event jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam and the Vietnam Innovation Network in Korea.
At the meeting, members of the Network and Vietnamese experts in Korea in strategic technology industries that Vietnam is prioritizing for development such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, advanced biomedics, robotics, autonomous equipment, aviation, space and unmanned aerial vehicles... reported, shared experiences, proposed and recommended new solutions and good practices to promote the development of key economic sectors towards the goal of developing science, technology and innovation, digital transformation in Vietnam, contributing to the country's rapid and sustainable development in the new context.
General Secretary To Lam highly appreciated the sharing and suggestions for Vietnam to participate in the value chain of large technology corporations, recognizing very practical initiatives that are close to current practical requirements to promote innovation, startups, digital transformation and the orientation of attracting investment associated with technology transfer.
The General Secretary said that recently, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation development; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on "international integration in the new situation"; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development.
These four important Resolutions are the foundational institutional pillars, creating a strong driving force to move our country forward in the new era, realizing the vision of Vietnam becoming a developed country with high income by 2045.

The General Secretary emphasized that one of the factors that determine success is high-quality human resources and the cooperation of intellectuals, experts, and domestic and foreign entrepreneurs.
To continue to deepen cooperation contents and open up new cooperation directions, General Secretary To Lam suggested that the Vietnam Innovation Network in Korea promote its role as a key bridge between the domestic and international innovation ecosystem; promote the connection of Vietnamese experts, intellectuals and entrepreneurs in Korea with domestic agencies, organizations and enterprises.
The Vietnam Innovation Network in Korea proactively leads innovation initiatives, promotes the transfer of knowledge and experience to bring the quintessence and progress of the world to Vietnam; at the same time, strengthens the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, creating a unified bloc to effectively contribute to the development of the country.
For relevant departments, ministries, branches and agencies of Vietnam, the General Secretary suggested that the Ministry of Finance continue to coordinate to coordinate, connect, transfer knowledge, concretize programs, ideas and proposals from experts in Korea and other countries to form specific solutions and products with high added value, contributing to achieving major goals and solving major problems of the country.
