With the theme "Unity, creativity, emulation in building and protecting the Fatherland", patriotic emulation movements in the period 2021-2025, especially the results of the implementation of 9 emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister, have become the core of mobilizing comprehensive strength to contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress.
Typically, the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" mobilized a total resource of about 3.7 million billion VND along with millions of households donating more than 98.2 million m2 of land, contributing tens of thousands of billions of VND and millions of working days to fundamentally change the appearance of rural areas, improving the lives of people in all aspects.
The movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025" was carried out rapidly, mobilizing more than 27,400 billion VND, of which people contributed and mobilized nearly 12,300 billion VND, supporting 2.7 million working days with more than 454 thousand participants, completing the elimination of 334.234 temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in just 450 days and nights.
In the period 2021-2025 (as of the beginning of the second quarter of 2025), implementing the movement "For the Poor - Not letting anyone be left behind", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have mobilized and supported the Fund for the Poor and Social Security with more than 30,342 billion VND; built and repaired 193,641 houses of great solidarity, supporting more than 6.46 million turns of poor people and people in difficult circumstances for medical examination and treatment.
Helping more than 1.3 million students to study; supporting more than 845 thousand poor people to develop production and supporting the construction of thousands of civil works...
By the end of 2025, the multidimensional poverty rate nationwide decreased to 1.3%, the average poverty rate of ethnic minorities decreased by more than 4.4%/year; the poverty and near-poverty rate decreased from nearly 2.4 million households at the beginning of the period to more than 1.25 million households by the end of 2025.
Notably, 19 particularly difficult communes in coastal, coastal, and island areas have met new rural standards, escaping special difficulties; some provinces and cities calculated according to the multidimensional poverty standard for the period 2022-2025 to 2024 no longer have poor households.
According to reports from localities (as of the end of January 2025), more than 8,900 billion VND was mobilized to implement the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction for the period 2021-2025; nearly 7.37 million people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic were supported with more than 5,950 billion VND.
