According to the project to develop the urban railway system of Ho Chi Minh City, the city plans to complete an additional 355km of urban railway from now until 2035, aiming to meet the goal of public passenger transport to meet 40-50% of travel needs.
In the next 10 years, the city will continue to expand the network by 155km, bringing the total length of the metro to 510km.
