HCMC - The HCMC Party Committee requested a temporary suspension of civil servant recruitment and the completion of leadership and management positions at district and commune-level agencies and units.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi has just signed an official dispatch to the district Party Committees, district Party Committees, Thu Duc City Party Committees, party committees directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and city departments and branches on the organization and arrangement of agencies, units and localities in the political system.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requires continuing to strictly implement the policy of temporarily suspending the recruitment of civil servants, appointing, recommending candidates for higher positions or perfecting leadership and management positions at district and commune-level agencies and units.

At the same time, the addition of Party committees and Standing Committees at the Party committees for the 2020-2025 term at the commune and district levels will also be temporarily suspended until further direction is given.

This decision was made based on the direction of the Politburo in Conclusion 127. The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee assigned the Secretaries of districts, towns and Thu Duc City to carry out ideological work, encourage cadres, and ensure stable operations in the locality until the district-level arrangement is implemented according to the Central Government's instructions.

In addition, members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee are responsible for closely monitoring the local situation, promptly reporting and proposing solutions to arising issues.

Previously, to implement Conclusion 127 of the Politburo, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee directed the affiliated Party Committees to strictly implement the policy of temporarily suspending the organization of Party Congresses of districts, towns, cities, wards, towns and affiliated grassroots Party Committees (cells) until further instructions from competent authorities.
