On September 13, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee held a weekly meeting to listen to and give opinions on the Project to pilot the model of "socialist school", "socialist hospital" and many other important contents.
Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation, chaired.
According to the project, the "socialist hospital" model is being comprehensively piloted at Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi Hospital in the period 2026-2030.
The goal of the project is to build a hospital model in a modern, specialized, safe, humane, fair, smart, green and sustainable direction; comprehensively care for people with meritorious services, the poor and vulnerable groups for medical examination and treatment at the hospital.
By 2030, build Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi Hospital into a specialized, modern, smart, green and humane general hospital; with specialized capacity, human resources and management close to special-class hospitals; playing the role of the final line of Quang Ninh city and regional hospitals of the Red River Delta and Northeast regions.
For the "socialist school" model, the project proposes piloting at 2 schools: Vu Van Hieu Primary, Secondary and High School (on the basis of merging Ha Tu Primary and Secondary School, Vu Van Hieu High School) in Ha Tu ward and Teacher Training Practice Primary, Secondary and High School (Ha Long University) in Vang Danh ward.
The model aims for the highest goal of arousing, educating, training, and spreading the characteristic values of socialist people. Students are respected and developed in accordance with their abilities, needs, circumstances and fairness.
Students, parents, schools, and society feel, measure, and are satisfied with the quality of daily education.
Directing this content, Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation, assigned the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department to coordinate with the City People's Committee Party Committee to continue to complete the project to report and seek opinions from the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee. At the same time, he noted that for the "socialist school" model, in addition to the teaching programs according to the education sector's framework, focus on local traditional education content, arts, physical education, sports, and foreign languages.
Thereby, contributing to building a generation of students who develop both intellectually, physically and revolutionary ideals. Along with investment capital from the state budget, research plans to mobilize socialized resources in the implementation process. For the "socialist hospital" model, it must aim to improve the professional quality, service quality and social responsibility of the hospital.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee also requested that after receiving opinions from the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, relevant agencies and units must immediately implement them in practice. In the immediate future, in 2026, it is necessary to complete the organizational structure for units that will be piloted. On that basis, continue to implement the next steps in the coming time.
Also at the conference, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee listened to and gave opinions on some other important contents.
