On April 27, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited and presented gifts to policy families, poor households, workers, and hard-working people in Hue City to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026).
At the headquarters of My Thuong Ward People's Committee, the working delegation listened to a general report on social security work, care for poor households, households in difficult circumstances and workers in the area in the past time.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet shared that, imbued with the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh and the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source" of the nation, the Party and State always determine that caring for people with meritorious services is a political responsibility, a command from the heart. According to Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, the achieved results are very commendable, but compared to the great contributions and sacrifices of previous generations, it is still necessary to continue to do more and better.
Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet emphasized that Hue has officially become a centrally-run city - the first heritage city in the country, opening a new promising development stage.
Therefore, the Party Committee, government and the entire political system of the city need to continue to implement well the policy of preferential treatment for people with meritorious services; not to miss or let any cases slip through; pay special attention to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, seriously wounded soldiers, and elderly people with meritorious services. At the same time, strive for all policy families in the area to have a living standard equal to or higher than the average of the community.
That concern must be expressed through specific, practical, and regular actions, not just on holidays and anniversaries," Mr. Trinh Van Quyet emphasized.

On the same day, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Khoa Diem - former member of the Politburo, Secretary of the 9th Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central Ideology and Culture Commission; along with two typical policy families in Vy Da ward including Ms. Phan Thi Tinh (wife of a martyr) and wounded soldier 4/4 Le Thoan, who was imprisoned in Con Dao.
