On June 12, information from the National Assembly Office said that Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued Resolutions on adjusting the 2026 Legislative Program and Resolutions on personnel appointment.
In Resolution No. 03/2026/UBTVQH16, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to add to the 2026 Legislative Program, submit to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 2nd Session (October 2026) 2 draft laws: Law on Protection of Important Works Related to National Security; Law on Electronic Identification and Authentication.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also decided to add to the 2026 Legislative Program, submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration and approval 1 draft ordinance, 2 draft resolutions, including: Ordinance amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment of People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution; Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 80/2025/UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee promulgating the Model Working Regulations of the Ethnic Council, Committees of the National Assembly according to simplified order and procedures; Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 29/2022/UBTVQH15 promulgating the Working Regulations of the National Assembly Standing Committee that has been amended and supplemented a number of articles according to Resolution No. 90/2025/UBTVQH15 according to simplified order and procedures.
In Resolution No. 05/2026/UBTVQH16, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to add to the 2026 Legislative Program, submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 2nd Session (October 2026) the draft Law on Organization of Criminal Investigation Agencies (amended).
Supplementing to the 2026 Legislative Program, submitting to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration and approval at the 6th Session (September 2026) for the project Resolution regulating the regime of protection of Judges.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also assigned the submitting agency, the agency in charge of thẩm tra, to participate in thẩm tra and the progress of submitting to the National Assembly Standing Committee for comments on draft laws, ordinances, and resolutions supplemented to the 2026 Legislative Program.
According to Resolution No. 281, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to appoint Mr. Ha Van Thang - Assistant of Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh to hold the position of Assistant of Member of the 16th Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the 16th National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh.
During his tenure as Assistant to the Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr. Ha Van Thang continued to enjoy a position allowance with a coefficient of 1.25.
