At the meeting with voters of 15 communes and wards (Tuan Chau, Viet Hung, Bai Chay, Hong Gai, Ha Long, Cao Xanh, Ha Tu, Ha Lam, Quang La, Thong Nhat, Cam Pha, Quang Hanh, Cua Ong, Mong Duong, Hai Hoa), Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang informed voters about the expected content and program of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Accordingly, the Session is expected to open on October 20, working for about 42 days. This is the first session after the whole country implemented the 2-level local government model.
The session has a very large workload and is of special significance, not only considering the usual contents at the end of the year, but also summarizing the work in a whole term; at the same time, passing many important decisions that are orientational for the new period.
Also at the session, the National Assembly will review and approve 45 draft laws and resolutions, including many important resolutions to promptly institutionalize the Central's new policies on education, health, and international integration; at the same time, review the summary report of 5 years of implementing national target plans and programs; approve investment policies for important programs; conduct personnel work, supervision and people's petition.
In the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - informed voters about the results of the settlement and response of central ministries and branches to the petition of voters of Quang Ninh province sent to the 9th Session.
Voters agreed and were highly unanimous with the information responding to the recommendations of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at the previous session, and continued to have many direct recommendations to the delegation.
The Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, highly appreciated the opinions and recommendations of voters' enthusiasm and responsibility; and directly discussed and answered a number of related contents.
