At the ceremony, Mr. Vu Huy Phuong - Chief of the Department of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province delivered a speech reviewing the meaning and history of the Traditional Day of the State Administrative Agency Office.
80 years ago, on August 28, 1945, right after the Provisional Government was established, President Ho Chi Minh decided to establish the Government Presidential Office. Since then, August 28 has become the Traditional Day of the State Administrative Agency Office.
After the merger of the province, the Office of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province quickly took the lead, promptly advised the Provincial People's Committee to organize the apparatus, develop a working program, ensure smooth and effective direction and operation from the very beginning.
The 2-level government model is operated smoothly, the workload has increased many times, but the collective Office of the Provincial People's Committee has promoted the tradition of "Good advice - Good service", affirming courage, organizational capacity and high adaptability.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Mai Son, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the results that the Provincial People's Committee Office has achieved in the past time.
At the same time, he emphasized that the Office needs to focus on a number of key tasks such as: Improving the quality of consulting, synthesizing, and coordinating; proactively forecasting and proposing timely and accurate solutions; taking the lead in administrative reform, digital transformation, building a smart and modern "Digital Office".
The Provincial People's Committee Office needs to build a set of KPI index to evaluate cadres, civil servants and public employees in a transparent and objective manner.
With the tradition of 80 years of building and maturing, along with the spirit of innovation and solidarity after the merger, Mr. Mai Son believes that the Office of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province will continue to affirm its role as the "brain" of advising and coordinating the trust of provincial leaders; contributing significantly to the success of the 2-level government model, making Bac Ninh province develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a centrally-run city before 2030.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit of Ministers and Head of the Government Office to 4 individuals; presented the "For Office Career" Commemorative Medal to 41 individuals.
