In the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025), Duc Thanh School - a historical relic in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province has become a destination that attracts many groups to visit.
This is also the place where teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh stopped teaching from September 2010 to February 11, before leaving to find a way to save the country.

According to records, these days, many groups of students, officers and soldiers have visited Duc Thanh School. Especially on weekends, there are many groups of students organized by the school to visit.
The groups lined up to perform the incense offering ceremony and pay their respects to Uncle Ho at the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan branch with endless respect and gratitude.
After that, the groups moved through Duc Thanh School to listen to an explanation about this historical relic.

Going back in time, Duc Thanh School was established and officially operated from 1907 according to the general policy of the Duy Tan movement initiated by Mr. Phan Chau Trinh with the desire to open up the people through the establishment of schools.
Although teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh's time at Duc Thanh School was not long, this place became a sacred milestone, recording the first step in his great journey.
In 1978, the Party Committee and the people of Binh Thuan province restored the Duc Thanh relic area and in 1983 continued to start the construction of the exhibition of the biography and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh on the Ca Ty River, including a gallery and a monument to him.
Since then, this place has become a vibrant historical space in the heart of the coastal city and every day welcomes many groups of visitors from all over the country to visit the school where Uncle Ho used to teach.
Le Ngoc Quynh (an 11th grade student in Lam Dong province) shared that when he visited Duc Thanh School, it was a very touching thing to come here on Uncle Ho's birthday. I not only learn history through books, but also personally visit the places where Uncle Ho used to live and teach.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nga - Head of the Explaining Professional Department, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Binh Thuan Branch - expressed her pride in being dedicated and working at the unit for more than 25 years.
Every day, Ms. Nga is welcomed and explained to many groups of visitors and is even more grateful for Uncle Ho's sacrifice and great role on the path to save the country and liberate the nation.

From the beginning of 2025 to now, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Binh Thuan branch has welcomed more than 815 groups of visitors with more than 53,000 visitors to visit, report on, and visit Uncle Ho. Among them, there were hundreds of international visitors.
Commemorating President Ho Chi Minh's birthday this year, Duc Thanh School is not only a meeting place for sacred resources but also educates revolutionary traditions, fosters patriotism and inspires the younger generation. Activities at the relic are increasingly being innovated, harmoniously combining traditional and modern elements, attracting more and more young generations to learn about history.
