On October 28, the Ministry of Health decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Hoang Viet Hai, a specialist in Psychiatry, forensic psychiatric examiner, Head of the Department of Examination and Paraclinical Medicine of the Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Institute in charge of expertise and assigned to be in charge of, managing and operating the Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry of Bien Hoa.
The term of Mr. Hoang Viet Hai as Deputy Director of Institute in charge of the professional field of the Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry, Bien Hoa, is 5 years from November 1, 2024.
Previously, on June 16, the Bien Hoa Forensic Psychiatric Institute sent a petition to the Ministry of Health after many officials of this unit were arrested and summoned to serve the investigation.
"The situation is very urgent now, there are no more staff working, the institute urgently reports and asks for instructions from the Ministry of Health to have a plan to stabilize the working staff," the document stated.
Regarding the bribery, bribery acceptance, and bribery brokerage case that occurred at the Bien Hoa Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry, in June 2024, the Department of Police Investigation of Social Order Crimes (C02 - Ministry of Public Security) and professional units arrested 15 suspects. Among them, some are leaders and officers of the Bien Hoa Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry.
