On the afternoon of February 11, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province organized an online video bridge program to wish Tet Nguyen Dan Binh Ngo 2026 to officials, soldiers and people of Truong Sa special zone.
The program is connected from Nha Trang ward bridge point to 3 bridge points in Truong Sa, Sinh Ton and Da Tay islands, creating a bridge of affection between the mainland and the forefront in the moment when the whole country is looking towards the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.
At the program, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong gave an overview of the socio-economic situation, national defense - security and Party building work in 2025 of Khanh Hoa province.
At Sinh Ton island bridge point, about 320 nautical miles from the mainland, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Tuong - Commander of the island - said that with the attention of all levels, soldiers and people on the island have fully received gifts, goods, food, and foodstuffs to serve Tet.
Along with the task of combat readiness, Sinh Ton Island organizes many Spring welcoming activities such as banh chung contests, decoration contests, culture - arts, sports, folk games..., creating a solidarity and warm atmosphere.
At the Nha Trang ward bridge point, Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh directly visited and encouraged soldiers and people of Sinh Ton island, recognizing the spirit of overcoming difficulties and determination to complete the task of protecting sea and island sovereignty.
The program left many emotional moments when connecting online with the family of Ms. Le Thi Kim Thi (36 years old, a volunteer citizen who came to Sinh Ton island), currently living on the island with her husband and two children.
In a conversation with her parents on the mainland, Ms. Thi's daughter's innocent words: "Grandparents take care of your health! Next summer I will go back to my grandparents!" made the atmosphere in the hall subside with emotion.
Mr. Le Van Tinh and Ms. Pham Thi Phuong expressed their pride that their children and grandchildren are contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland in the sea and islands, and at the same time sent New Year wishes to officers, soldiers and people of Truong Sa Special Zone.
At the Da Tay island bridge point, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Phuc - Commander of the island - affirmed that the army and people on the island always deeply feel the concern of the Party, State and People of the whole country; will celebrate Tet happily, economically, and at the same time raise vigilance and be ready to protect the Fatherland's sovereignty.
Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh emphasized the message "all for beloved Truong Sa", affirming that despite geographical distance, Truong Sa is always in the heart of Khanh Hoa, in the heart of the whole country.
Provincial Party Secretary sent New Year greetings for the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 to officials, soldiers and people of Truong Sa Special Zone, wishing soldiers and people a warm and joyful Tet, and continuing to firmly protect the sacred sea and island sovereignty of the Fatherland.
