On January 22, WWD magazine reported that Rose of the K-pop girl group Blackpink was chosen as the face of the 2025 Valentine's Day campaign of Skims - a shapewear brand founded by billionaire and TV star Kim Kardashian.
In the photoshoot, the Korean singer wears Skims' limited edition "romantic and cute" loungewear, sleepwear and lingerie designs.
Regarding the reason for accepting the invitation to participate in Skims' Valentine campaign, Rose shared: "Valentine's Day always holds a special place in my heart. Maybe it's because it falls just a few days after my birthday, making my birthday very beautiful and romantic. So, I feel like Valentine's Day is almost like my second birthday."
The singer hopes everyone feels confident and beautiful in the outfits in this collection.

According to Variety, Rose is the latest name in the list of A-list celebrities participating in the brand's massive advertising campaigns. Previous faces who have collaborated with Skims include Kate Moss, Lana del Rey, Charli XCX, Kim Catrall, Ice Spice, PinkPantheress, and SZA.
Rose became a model for Skims after a breakthrough year in music with her debut solo album “rosie,” and the global hit “APT.” featuring Bruno Mars.
The hit single "APT." helped Rose become the first female K-pop artist to enter the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100, and held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart for 11 weeks.
The main vocalist of Blackpink is also currently the global ambassador for two luxury brands, Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co.
