On July 27, 2026, at Dong Kinh Ward People's Committee, Lang Son Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) to organize the Inauguration Ceremony of the Digital Public Service Station model.
Realizing Project 06 of the Government, bringing digital utilities closer to people in mountainous areas
The digital public service station sponsored by Agribank is a solution applying artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced smart identification technology, helping to automate the process of issuing digital copies and performing online public services. The sponsorship and operation of 10 digital public service stations in Lang Son demonstrates Agribank's determination in implementing Project 06 of the Government (Project on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation).
The Digital Public Service Station going into operation helps simplify the process of resolving administrative procedures at the grassroots level. With a modern equipment system, integrating electronic identity verification technology through chip-based Citizen Identification Cards and VNeID application, people can self-submit dossiers, look up the progress of handling public administrative procedures right at the Station, completely proactively implement online public services, look up information and access safe, convenient, secure, and transparent digital banking services.
The model not only helps save time and travel costs for people but also acts as a connecting point, improving digital skills for the community, gradually forming a generation of "digital citizens" in the locality; and at the same time is a direct bridge to help local authorities improve the administrative reform index, creating sustainable development momentum for the digital economy.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Hong Phu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Police for Administrative Management of Social Order - Ministry of Public Security assessed that the launch of the Digital Public Service Station System applying population data, identification and electronic authentication VNeID in Lang Son province is of particular importance in the digital transformation process serving people and businesses. As a typical model of the Multi-utility Kiosk Ecosystem implemented by the Department of Police for Administrative Management of Social Order in coordination with relevant units, the Digital Public Service Station is not only a solution contributing to reducing the burden on the staff at Public Administrative Service Centers but also creates conditions for people to access public services quickly, conveniently, transparently and more modernly.
Strategic step, suitable for the strategically important socio-economic position of Lang Son province
The roadmap to bring digital public service stations to regions across the country is a vivid proof of Agribank's technological capacity and spirit of service. Before docking in Lang Son, this model had affirmed its outstanding effectiveness with: 51 digital public service stations put into stable operation in 5 key provinces/cities (Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Da Nang); More than 60,000 people have accessed, experienced and proficiently used online public services as well as modern financial services.
Reporting on the results of coordination in deploying the Digital Public Service Station, Comrade Nguyen Quang Huy - Provincial Party Committee Member, Director of Lang Son Department of Science and Technology said: After deploying the two-level local government model, with a network system including the Provincial Public Administrative Service Center and 65 Commune and Ward-level Public Administrative Service Centers, the pressure and demand for resolving online administrative procedures and digitizing dossiers at the grassroots level is extremely large. On average, each month, communes generate about 8,600 administrative procedure dossiers, accompanied by the actual needs of people who want to access and resolve procedures in the electronic environment outside office hours conveniently.
At the ceremony, Comrade Doan Thanh Son - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee expressed his sincere thanks to Agribank and related agencies and units. Comrade affirmed that today's result is the coordination and companionship of responsibility between the Lang Son provincial government and the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order - Ministry of Public Security; Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development; Phuong Dong Investment and Technology Joint Stock Company and related agencies and units.
