In the context of the non-life insurance market becoming increasingly competitive and profit margins narrowing, BSH still achieved total insurance revenue of 2,496 billion VND, completing 113.8% of the plan; original insurance revenue reached 2,405 billion VND, equivalent to 137.8% of the plan. Notably, pre-tax profit reached 25.1 billion VND, an increase of 128% compared to the previous year and reached 153.7% of the plan.

BSH Strategic pivot: Compact to be stronger, different to be sustainable
Instead of pursuing scale expansion, BSH chose a direction with higher discipline: comprehensive restructuring to become a mid-range insurance company but with sharp competitiveness.
Businesses synchronously implement solutions to streamline the apparatus, improve the quality of human resources, review and optimize product portfolios, and tighten risk controls in exploitation. Focus is placed on high-efficiency customer segments, thereby improving profit margins and improving the quality of insurance portfolios.
In addition, BSH promotes digital transformation as a tool to improve performance instead of just a trend. Platforms such as MyBSH, centralized appraisal systems and new generation customer care switchboards are being deployed to standardize operation, shorten processing time and enhance customer experience.
Proactively adjusting the scale in the short term may affect the revenue ranking, but it is a necessary step to build long-term competitiveness. This is a strategic choice, showing consistency in the development orientation based on efficiency rather than quantity.
