Faced with the reality of high electricity consumption demand in the summer, Hanoi Electricity Corporation (EVNHANOI) has proactively accelerated the progress of a series of important projects to increase the capacity of the power grid, meeting the demand for electricity in Hanoi.
Accordingly, EVNHANOI will implement investment projects to build 110/220 kV projects to serve power assurance such as: Relocating the 35 kV Nam An Khanh line; Newly constructing the 110 kV Phuc Tho 2 station, the 110 kV Phu Luong station, the 110 kV Tay Mo station, the 110 kV Tay Ho Tay station and branch branches.
Build new 110kV output routes from Van Dien 220/110kV transformer station; Renovate and upgrade the capacity of the 110kV power line from Van Dinh 110kV transformer station to Dia 110kV transformer station... Especially the two national key projects to build a new 220/110kV Thanh Xuan station and build a new 220/110kV Dai Mo station.
The projects put into operation will help ensure a stable power source for people and businesses, especially during the peak summer period, minimizing overload and power losses for the power grid system.
Create favorable conditions for production and business activities, while better serving the needs of industrial parks, high-tech parks, hospitals, schools and key projects of the city.
EVNHANOI has closely coordinated with departments, branches and local authorities to remove difficulties in site clearance, shorten investment procedures to speed up project progress.
At the same time, mobilize maximum human and material resources, speed up the construction progress of key projects, ensure completion on schedule.
In parallel with investment and construction, to cope with possible incidents, ensure safe and continuous power supply to the power grid in the summer of 2025, the Hanoi Electrical System Control Center has developed 02 cases of forecasting maximum capacity growth (Pmax) in the whole city, including core growth of 8% and the most extreme load growth of 12%.
In addition, complex weather forecasts and the risk of prolonged heat can cause difficulties in ensuring power supply. In particular, in the summer, power companies have calculated specific monthly operating plans in 2025.
The construction of a backup power grid control system plays an important role in improving the reliability of power supply for the capital, especially during the peak summer period.
With synchronous solutions, EVNHANOI is determined to ensure stable power supply to the capital during the hot season, meeting the electricity demand for socio-economic development and people's lives.
