The document stated that the media reported that the incident of the child "not being treated for emergency care because he had not paid the hospital fees" occurred at Nam Dinh General Hospital.

In response to this incident, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province requested the Director of the Department of Health to urgently verify and clarify the information and incident mentioned above; if violations are detected, consider strictly handling the responsibilities of relevant collectives and individuals (if any) in accordance with regulations.

At the same time, the Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee requested to rectify medical facilities in the province in implementing and complying with emergency procedures, hospital duty and communication skills with patients and their families; ensuring compliance with regulations and safety for patients.

Report to the Provincial People's Committee the results of verification and settlement (through the Provincial People's Committee Office) before 10:00 on May 5.

On the same day (4.5), the Department of Health of Nam Dinh province also issued a written request to Nam Dinh General Hospital to rectify the permanent work; review the process of welcoming, examination, emergency and handling of emergency patients in accordance with regulations; continue propaganda to improve the attitudes and communication of medical staff. At the same time, seriously review the incident, consider the responsibilities of individuals and crews, if there are violations, they must strictly handle them according to regulations and coordinate with the speech agencies, provide honest and objective information about the case for people to know.

Regarding the above incident, Nam Dinh General Hospital has quickly reported that this hospital was reported to have to pay the full hospital fee to provide emergency care for a child in a traffic accident.
