On the evening of December 16-12, at Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi), the Human Act Prize 2025 - Community Action Award of the Year took place to honor outstanding projects, ideas, and actions for the community that have been inspiring dedication and perseverance in serving a better future for everyone.
The Timely Project category at Human Act Prize 2025 honors the Hope Project, the "School Lighting" Program Project of the Hope Fund - FPT Corporation and the "GELEX Humanity - Creating Community Happiness" Project of GELEX Corporation. Each project shows that a decision to act at the right time can open up hope, light up knowledge and spread happiness persistently.
Originating from the urgent need of two leading medical centers (Slyct Center and A9 Emergency Center - Bach Mai Hospital) always having to cope with serious overload, GELEX Group's project has promptly contributed to improving emergency capacity, helping thousands of patients regain their lives each year.
The project is implemented in two phases. Phase 1 (September 2023 - May 2024), GELEX Group sponsored the entire cost of renovating the Stroke Center. The project was newly built and expanded to 3 floors with a total area of nearly 300 m2, adding 10 modern hospital beds, helping to expand the scale of receiving and treating stroke patients.
In phase 2 (August 2024 - October 2024), GELEX continues to sponsor the renovation of the A9 Emergency Center and the expansion of the Stroke Center infrastructure, with a total area of over 8,000 m2. In which, the A9 Center area occupies about 6,000 m2, including 20 rooms, functional areas and synchronous technical equipment systems: lighting, ventilation, elevators, resuscitation room, disease room, corridor...
After two space renovations, the A9 Emergency Center and the Stroke Center of Bach Mai Hospital have been changed with a system of medical equipment, modern facilities, beautiful and convenient ward. The project demonstrates the aspiration to improve the quality of life and peace of mind for people, by creating a more spacious, modern and comfortable treatment space, while bringing a positive working environment, inspiring the medical team.
Present at the red carpet of the program, Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Communications Director of GELEX Group (Project Representative) said: "I feel very happy to be here today - a meeting place for kind hearts. The Human Act Prize 2025 - Community Action Award is a national award held annually. From 160 projects, 27 projects have been selected to participate in the 2025 Award Final Round. Each project representative presented, reviewed and had a direct dialogue with the Jury to select the best project in each category, and decided on the highest award of 2025.
Within the framework of this Award, in November 2025, when floods in Phu Yen left serious consequences, Rescue Team 116 (Project "Love for Humanity in the Wave" - Inspiration Project Category) set out to support people, GELEX Group immediately supported 300 million VND so that Team 116 could have more resources to promptly buy rescue and relief equipment.
This connection and spread shows that Human Act Prize has opened a new journey, for kind hearts and committed spirit to choose to become a part of community actions together.
