This is not only a gathering place for people who are dedicated to their creative work every day, but also a starting point for spreading joy to the community through a series of activities from December 20, 2024 to January 10, 2025. The special theme of the third season is called The Making of Joy, inspired by the Dulux Color of the Year 2025 - True Joy™. The organizing team wants to convey a profound message: in the transition between 2024 and 2025, when society faces many challenges, maintaining positive thinking, seeking light and nurturing daily joy is more important than ever.
The TDX Ice Factory space, from an ice factory, has been "transformed" into a creative office that blends art and culture, with the support of partners in the fields of interior design, materials, lighting and technology. Together with partner Dulux by Azko Nobel, this space organizes many rich activities such as Design talk, Workshop, performance, Showcase, product demo and artist exchange, creating a bridge between creators and the public, bringing art closer to life, opening up aesthetic feelings in every moment of every day.
From the AR exhibition Ngoc Ngach organized by Thoc Journal to workshops such as Styling in interiors or Painting - Writing and talk shows such as Vuon Ra The Gioi: Let Vietnamese Artists Step Into the World of NFT & Web3 Art, the project brings sharp perspectives on art and creativity. Practical activities such as interior sketching at Saigon's Gastropub or the flower arrangement workshop Weaving a Flower not only help participants admire art but also directly experience the creative process. Emotional performances such as Still Living - Still Living or poetry recitations and traditional music exchanges bring art closer to life, creating a multi-dimensional creative space where emotions and ideas are strongly inspired.
The story of Pop-Up Office does not stop at events but also spreads through the journey of finding joy through design. Through the Joy Declaration competition, architectural designers have realized the theme of "joy" into vibrant living spaces for the community. The first prize winner of The Joy of Using Space competition by designer Chung Thi Thanh Ngan told a humane story about visually impaired children who yearn for a safe and inspiring learning space. This design, conceived through many years of research, is not only a project but also a strong commitment: everyone, regardless of circumstances, deserves a beautiful living space.
Other award-winning works, such as Write Our Smile by designer Tran Ngoc Phat or Hue Cultural Space by H.BD Atelier, also bring unique stories, connecting modern creativity and traditional values. Through these designs, “joy” is no longer a vague concept, but becomes a vivid experience, felt by the heart and senses.
With each activity and each entry, Creating Joy is not only an exhibition project and art activity, but also a journey to connect emotions and inspire new ideas, so that each participant can find joy and inspiration in every moment, thereby spreading the spirit of creativity and community responsibility, finding from the surrounding world into vibrant, colorful and hopeful beauty.
