According to the assessment at the Conference, in January 2026, EVNGENCO1 closely followed the direction of Vietnam Electricity Group, proactively operated, closely coordinated with relevant units, and maintained safe and stable operation of power plants. The total electricity output produced by the Corporation reached 2.978 billion kWh, meeting the mobilization requirements of the national power system. The operation of hydropower plants was carried out seriously according to the inter-reservoir operation process, ensuring water supply requirements for downstream areas and controlling the water level of reservoirs according to the assigned plan, contributing to ensuring project safety and water exploitation efficiency.
In parallel with the operation task, the Corporation deploys maintenance and repair of units according to plan, focusing on consolidating equipment, ensuring reliability and ability to meet the mobilization requirements of the power system. Fuel preparation is identified as a key task; EVNGENCO1 strengthens coordination with domestic and imported coal suppliers, ensuring sufficient fuel to serve safe and continuous power production, especially during the Lunar New Year and the first months of the dry season.
In the field of construction investment, EVNGENCO1 continues to implement projects according to the 2026 plan, focusing on controlling progress, quality and efficiency of capital use; and at the same time promoting the preparation and completion of dossiers for new power source projects, technical and environmental renovation and upgrade projects at power plants, creating a foundation for implementation in the next phase.

In addition to production and business tasks, on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, EVNGENCO1 pays special attention to caring for the lives of workers and social responsibility. Leaders of the Corporation and member units have organized many activities to visit, encourage, and give Tet gifts to officials, employees, and workers, especially the operating force at power plants during Tet. At the same time, EVNGENCO1 implements social security programs in many localities, supporting households in difficult circumstances, contributing to spreading the spirit of responsibility, affection and EVNGENCO1 culture towards the community.
Concluding the Conference, General Director of EVNGENCO1 Le Hai Dang requested units to continue to thoroughly grasp operating discipline, ensuring that power plants operate safely, stably and continuously during the Lunar New Year and the beginning of the year. The General Director emphasized that fuel preparation is a key task, of decisive significance for power production; requested to proactively coordinate closely with coal suppliers to ensure sufficient fuel for operation. For thermal power block, it is necessary to ensure that exhaust gas treatment systems fully meet environmental standards; for hydropower block, strengthen coordination with local authorities in downstream water supply and reservoir operation, ensuring harmony between power generation goals and safety for downstream.
Stepping into February 2026, EVNGENCO1 continues to focus highly on the task of ensuring safe and stable operation of the power system during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, and at the same time proactively implement solutions to prepare for the peak dry season of 2026, with the total electricity output plan of the Corporation in February reaching about 2.4 billion kWh, creating a solid foundation to successfully complete the production and business and construction investment plan in 2026.
