GPBank continues to mark a new milestone when officially launching a series of Local Branding activities in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

Bringing the "Prosperity Era" to every street corner

From the end of July to the end of August, GPBank's new identity image will be present on many central streets in Da Nang, Hanoi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City through brand promotion cars combined with a series of experience activities for customers.

Inspired by the brand message "For a prosperous era", the journey not only brings a new look of GPBank but also spreads the spirit of innovation, positivity and the desire to accompany the development of the community.

In each locality, brand identity cars will move through symbolic routes before stopping at crowded places to organize many exchange, experience and interaction activities with customers.

It is expected that concentrated activities for customers will take place at Cau Rong Park (Da Nang), Thong Nhat Park (Hanoi), Cat Bi market (Hai Phong) and Nguyen Hue pedestrian street (HCMC).

Here, people will have the opportunity to learn about GPBank's digital banking products and services, participate in interactive games, receive many attractive gifts when opening an account, as well as experience the brand space designed in a youthful and modern spirit.

Starting the journey in Da Nang on July 25, the GPBank brand promotion vehicle will move through many streets and iconic landmarks of the city before stopping at Cau Rong Park to organize experiential activities for people.

On this occasion, customers who open a new GPBank account will receive many attractive offers, including tickets to attend the Live the Vibe - Move Together music night and many valuable gifts.

At the same time, GPBank also introduced the digital banking application GP. DigiPlus, which allows opening an online account in just 3 minutes and experiencing a modern digital financial ecosystem with utilities such as money transfers, QR payments and financial management anytime, anywhere.

In the context of increasing competition in the banking market shifting from a race for products to a race for experience and customer engagement, many banks have stepped up brand promotion activities in each locality as part of a long-term development strategy.

Instead of just being present through media channels or digital platforms, banks proactively create direct touch points for customers to meet, experience services and interact with brands in daily life. This is considered a trend being applied by many financial institutions around the world to increase awareness, build trust and build sustainable relationships with customers right from the first experiences.

For customers, these activities provide opportunities to access financial products and services visually, receive direct advice and experience digital banking utilities right in their living and working places.

For banks, being present in each locality not only contributes to expanding the new customer base but also strengthens the connection of existing customers, spreading the brand image of being close, dynamic and accompanying the development of the community. This is also an important foundation to promote the use of digital banking services and build sustainable growth in the long term.

Through this series of activities, GPBank wishes to create many close contact points with people in large cities, spreading the image of a dynamic, friendly bank that always aims for customer experience.

This is also an opportunity for GPBank to introduce more widely the digital banking ecosystem that is being strongly invested in, while strengthening connections with new customers and consolidating the attachment of existing customers to the brand.

Another step in GPBank's transformation journey

The series of direct experience activities takes place in the context that GPBank is recording many positive results after a comprehensive transformation process.

After being compulsorily transferred to VPBank, the bank continuously invests in technology, products, networks and brand recognition. If in 2025, GPBank achieved pre-tax profit of 500 billion VND, then in the first 6 months of 2026, consolidated pre-tax profit reached nearly 730 billion VND, an increase of 783% compared to the same period.

Business indicators also recorded positive growth momentum when capital mobilization from customers increased by 30%, reaching nearly 58,000 billion VND, creating a foundation for credit to grow by 21%, reaching more than 60,000 billion VND.

In parallel with business growth, GPBank continues to expand its presence in the market by synchronously implementing the network transformation plan. In the first 6 months of the year, the bank completed the relocation of 20 branches, continuing to aim for the conversion of 36 transaction points in 2026; and was approved by the State Bank to open 10 new branches, of which 6 points are expected to be put into operation in the third quarter.

This series of activities is therefore not only a brand promotion activity, but also an affirmation for a new stage of GPBank's development - where changes in technology, products and operating capacity are gradually being transformed into more close experiences to customers, true to the spirit of "For a Prosperous Era".
