Find your way back to the city
Recalling the moment she decided to buy a house in the inner city after nearly 6 years of living in Hoai Duc, Ms. Huong still remembers clearly. On the evening of July 23, it rained heavily and continuously, the 40-minute journey from her office (Cau Giay) to Hoai Duc now took more than 3 hours because many places were flooded. 4 days later, the place where she lived returned to normal.
Ms. Huong admitted that living in the suburbs has many advantages but also many inconveniences that she finds difficult to overcome in the long term, especially when both husband and wife work in the inner city. The roads are often congested, and the long driving journey every day makes her exhausted. Not to mention that she misses many meetings and networking opportunities just because her house is far away. “The rain that day was actually the last straw. Therefore, I decided to save my finances and “find a way” to return to the inner city,” Ms. Huong added.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nga is planning to return to the inner city based on her children's study plan. This year, both of her children will enter high school. Her son aims to apply to the University of Science and Technology, while her daughter wants to become a student at the National Economics University after completing high school.
After researching, Ms. Nga targeted Linh Dam area (Hoang Mai District) because this is the area close to both universities that her children are aiming for, taking less than 20 minutes to travel. In addition, housing prices in Linh Dam are still "softer" than many other inner-city districts of Hanoi, making it the most suitable choice for her family.
Ms. Nga believes that buying a house in the inner city at the present time is also a savings for the future, when house prices only increase, not decrease. "If you wait until your child goes to university or graduates to buy a house, the price will be very different then. Buying now is the most reasonable" - Ms. Nga further explained.

A survey of many real estate brokers also shows that there are many reasons for customers from the suburbs and other provinces to come to inner-city projects. The most common customers are families with children studying and working in Hanoi or working in the inner city themselves. There are many customers who quickly close their homes, projects with prices ranging from 3-5 billion VND and located near popular main traffic routes.
Revealing the project of "inner city stop" for real guests
Similar to the brokers' assessment, Ms. Nga revealed that she had chosen an apartment project being implemented in the Southwest Linh Dam area - Hanoi Melody Residences. This project is considered by many customers from the suburbs or other provinces as a destination for their journey to buy a house in the city thanks to its proximity to a series of main traffic routes such as Ring Road 3, National Highway 1A, Giai Phong Street, Giap Bat and Nuoc Ngam bus stations... These existing traffic routes make traveling in both directions to the city center and to neighboring provinces extremely convenient.
“Above all, this high-end project has a price range of 60-70 million VND/m2, with large apartment areas, very reasonable compared to other projects under construction or just opened for sale in Hanoi,” said Ms. Nga.
For customers who used to live in the suburbs, besides traffic and price factors, green amenities are considered important.

Located in a green area in the capital, Hanoi Melody Residences attracts visitors with its airy view from the 300-hectare park system of Linh Dam, Yen So, Chu Van An (under construction). Residents also enjoy the fresh air from more than 90 hectares of large surrounding lakes and rivers such as Linh Dam Lake, Den Lu Lake, Dinh Cong Lake, Thanh Liet Lake. This is considered a 'green lung', helping to regulate the air for Hanoi Melody Residences and the Southwest Linh Dam area.
Focusing on green elements to anticipate trends and establish sustainable living standards for future residents, Hanoi Melody Residences also provides internal green facilities to serve the needs of all ages. There are relaxing gardens and walking paths with green vegetation all year round.
In addition, the project has 4 open, unobstructed sides. The apartments are intelligently and optimally designed with balconies and large windows to welcome natural light and wind, helping to save energy and create a panoramic view.

Currently, Hanoi Melody Residences is the only primary apartment project being implemented in Tay Nam Linh Dam. In the context of increasingly limited land funds, Hanoi Melody Residences is one of the few inner-city projects that offers airy living space and amenities right at the doorstep. All of these make the project one of the most attractive products in the Hanoi apartment market at this time, leading the wave of customers "returning" to the inner city.
