Reporting at the Conference, Major General Luu Trung Thai, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of MB's Board of Directors, said that in 2025, despite facing many challenges, MB has made efforts to successfully complete the targets set by the General Meeting of Shareholders, recording positive growth in both scale, efficiency and asset quality.

Accordingly, MB's total assets reached 1.6 million billion VND, an increase of 35% compared to 2024. The group's pre-tax profit reached over 34.2 trillion VND, an increase of 18.7% compared to last year. Credit balance exceeded 1 million billion VND, an increase of 35% - showing MB's role in meeting the development needs of the economy, accompanying businesses, people and key projects, contributing to the smooth operation of the financial and banking market. Indicators of efficiency and safety are maintained stably. The bad debt ratio is controlled at below 1.3%, completing the set plan.
In particular, in the MB brand valuation measurement results 2025 according to Brand Finance ranking announced on January 15, the MB brand has surpassed the 2 billion USD mark, ranking in the top 3 banks and top 10 most valuable brands in the country, 5 times higher than 5 years ago. Last year, MB contributed more than 10 trillion VND to the budget, an increase of 16% compared to the previous year, forming the 5 largest pillars of the industry in contributing to the state budget.

The Minister of National Defense also believes that, with internal strength and existing foundations through more than 30 years of striving and growing up, MB will continue to develop sustainably, achieve more achievements, and be worthy of being a Labor Hero unit in the renovation period.

Speaking in response, Colonel Pham Nhu Anh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of MB said that MB seriously accepts all instructions from the Minister of National Defense, and affirmed that the bank will continue to promote digital transformation associated with modern risk management, improve the quality of human resources, and make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the country.

MB honored to receive the Third-class Labor Medal
Recognizing MB's outstanding achievements in the nationwide emulation movement to join hands in building new rural areas in the 2021-2025 period, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam decided to award the Third-class Labor Medal to MB. At the Conference, MB was honored to receive the Third-class Labor Medal awarded by the Party and State.
