On November 21, 2025, Vietnam National Payment Joint Stock Company (NAPAS) successfully held the 2025 Member Organization Conference.
This is an annual event for NAPAS and its Member Organizations (MOOs) to look back on the results of cooperation in the past year, and at the same time orient the development strategy for the next phase. The conference is also an opportunity to honor units that have made outstanding contributions to the overall growth of the payment network.

The conference was attended by representatives of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), including Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Director of the Payment Department, Mr. Le Hoang Chinh Quang - Director of the Department of Information Technology, along with 65 TCTVs, NAPAS Board of Directors and specialized departments.
2025 marks many new steps forward in NAPAS' operations. Accordingly, the NAPAS system recorded a growth rate of 23.7% in quantity and 8.7% in transaction value compared to 2024. On average, the processing system averages more than 32 million transactions/day.
In particular, express money transfer services via VietQR codes continue to lead in growth. As of October 2025, nearly 90 million accounts used Mobile Banking of banks to scan VietQR codes. In the first 10 months of the year, transactions via VietQR code increased by more than 52% in quantity and 85% in value compared to the same period in 2024. In particular, the continuous operation rate of the NAPAS system reached 99.997%, exceeding the commitment level, affirming stable and safe operation capacity.
Also in 2025, NAPAS has completed the implementation of many key projects, typically upgrading technical standards for money transfer and payment services via QR codes to improve quality and expand services quickly and effectively; deploying the NAPAS digital payment platform to bring a convenient, safe and unified payment experience to users on all platforms.
NAPAS has also officially launched the NAPAS Tap and Pay mobile payment solution on Android and Apple Pay operating devices on Apple devices, while standardizing and expanding the VIETQRPay payment service for domestic payments and VIETQR Global for cross-border payments.
NAPAS has completed payment connection via QR code with Thailand, Cambodia, Laos. In particular, in early December 2025, NAPAS will coordinate with UnionPay to officially deploy payment via QR code between Vietnam and China, in the direction that Chinese customers pay at payment acceptance points in Vietnam.
In the coming time, NAPAS will continue to expand connections to other countries such as Singapore, Korea, Japan, India, etc., aiming to build seamless QR code payment solutions from domestic to cross-border, convenient at reasonable costs for people and tourists coming to Vietnam.
In parallel with focusing on developing modern payment solutions, NAPAS focuses on ensuring transaction safety. In 2025, NAPAS deployed a tool to warn of suspected fake fraud transactions for TCTVs, based on data from the SIMO system of the State Bank and data from the Ministry of Public Security. At the same time, coordinate with the Banking Association to issue Handbooks on anti-fraud guidelines, support banks in handling suspicious transactions, contribute to protecting users and promoting cashless payment habits.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of NAPAS - emphasized: "NAPAS is always steadfast in its goal of ensuring a stable, safe and smooth payment infrastructure, while constantly innovating to meet the increasingly diverse payment needs of people and businesses.
The positive results in 2025 are achieved thanks to the support, assistance and close cooperation of TCTVs. In the coming time, NAPAS hopes to continue to receive cooperation to jointly build a safe - modern - widely connected digital payment system, reaching the regional level, best serving Vietnamese people and businesses" - Mr. Hung affirmed.
By 2026, NAPAS will expand the implementation of key services such as VIETQRPay, VIETQR Global, Tap and Pay... to promote cross-border payment connections with countries in the region; enhance the application of new technology, ensure system safety and enhance user experience.


Also within the framework of the conference, NAPAS held a Ceremony to honor member organizations with outstanding contributions in 2025.
In particular, the 2025 Best Bank award went to Techcombank with great contributions to the system and network. The Outstanding Bank Award went to Vietcombank, MB and Sacombank.
