This is not only an annual tree planting activity, but also a strong message about the spirit of green living and responsibility towards the environment of the staff and workers of the Factory.
With the theme " green living is the choice for health and the future", the ceremony attracted a large number of union officials, union members, youth union members and workers of the Factory to participate.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Dinh Quan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Factory emphasized: "Environmental protection is not only a responsibility but also a mission of each individual and each enterprise. Even as a thermal power plant, we are always aware of the importance of minimizing environmental impact and making continuous efforts for sustainable development."
The image of hundreds of new trees being planted on the arid land of the area around the factory is a living proof of this determination. The rows of trees planted by the hands and hearts of electricity workers not only beautify the landscape of the factory to be greener - cleaner - beautiful, but also a symbol of the will to transform greenly and develop sustainably in the current period. To date, the factory has planted more than 25,000 trees, flowers and 950m2 of ornamental grass, over 50 hectares of the campus have been covered with green, mainly trees that can withstand drought.
Today's tree planting activities are part of a series of meaningful activities that Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant will implement in the Environmental Action Month 2025.
Previously, the factory has been actively implementing many solutions to optimize production processes, apply modern technology to reduce emissions, effectively manage solid waste and raise awareness of environmental protection for all staff and workers.
This is not an action of one day, one month, but a long-term commitment, part of the sustainable development strategy set forth by the Party Congress of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant for the 2025-2030 term, contributing to realizing the common goal of a green and prosperous Vietnam.
