Within the framework of the Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month 2025, Mr. Vu Thanh Hai - Director of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant directly inspected the site at many important production locations, especially the coal supply system - one of the areas with many potential risks to labor safety.
Also participating in the inspection team were representatives of the Departments of Technology, Administration, Labor - Environmental Safety and Grassroots Trade Unions. At the scene, the team reviewed the operating process, protective system, warning signs, protective equipment and operating logs in accordance with regulations.
Speaking at the inspection, Mr. Vu Thanh Hai emphasized: "Safety must become a core value in all production activities, not just stopping at the slogan or during a peak month. Investing in safety is investing in the sustainable development of the factory and the happiness of workers".
During the inspection process, the Factory Director directed the departments to review the entire technical process, strengthen periodic inspections, proactively assess and control possible risks. Good implementation points are praised, while shortcomings - even small - are pointed out and required to be overcome immediately.
In particular, he suggested that the leaders of the workshops pay more attention to labor hygiene conditions such as shower areas, changing after-sales clothes, protective shoe hygiene equipment, as well as actual working conditions of workers to ensure health and peace of mind during the production process.
This year's Action Month has the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace", which is being implemented synchronously at Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant.
In addition to field inspections, many propaganda, training activities, and labor safety competitions are also being organized to spread the proactive and responsible spirit to each officer and employee.
With the determination of leaders to workers, Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant is aiming to build a safe and effective working environment, worthy of being a typical power generation unit in the system of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN).
