This is the next step taken by Nutifood right after the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee approved the investment policy of the project established by the company and fully funded on October 4, 2024.
Accordingly, My Thuan Project Management Board will advise and manage on behalf of Nutifood throughout the project implementation process, from preparation to completion and handover. Items include: Overall project management (management of design, plans, project progress, legal documents, project-related documents, etc.); Management of bidding and contractor selection; Contract management; Construction management (management of quality, progress, volume, labor safety, etc.); Cost management and settlement.
Sharing at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoang - Deputy General Director in charge of Nutifood Project - said: "With the desire to build a durable, highly aesthetic project that is expected to become a new symbol of the city, we pay great attention to selecting the Project Management Consulting Board for the construction of a pedestrian bridge across the Saigon River. This is a prestigious and experienced unit leading in the field of project management of key projects in Vietnam".
“We believe that the My Thuan Project Management Board will help us in consulting and managing the project to ensure quality, progress and budget. The bridge is of great significance, so we hope that the partners participating in this project will also put their heart and determination into the project so that the bridge can be inaugurated on time as committed in 2027,” said Mr. Hoang.
Established in 1994, the predecessor is My Thuan Bridge Project Management Board, My Thuan Project Management Board is a public service unit, specialized in transportation, under the Ministry of Transport.
With nearly 30 years of development, My Thuan Project Management Board has been assigned by the Ministry of Transport to manage a number of typical projects in the South such as: My Thuan Bridge Project, Can Tho Bridge Project, Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway Project, etc.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Thi - Director of My Thuan Project Management Board - said: "As a unit with headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City for nearly 30 years, we are extremely honored to contribute to this meaningful project. The leaders of My Thuan Project Management Board and departments, engineers are committed to working with Nutifood to select reputable contractors with reasonable costs to build a pedestrian bridge across the Saigon River to ensure quality, aesthetics, and on schedule. From now until the groundbreaking date, there are about 6 months left, so we will try to speed up the progress to implement it as planned."
In addition to signing the project management consulting contract, Nutifood will continue to select contractors to carry out other items of the Saigon River pedestrian bridge construction project such as: Construction survey, Consulting on construction drawing design, Consulting on design review...
It is expected that Nutifood will officially start construction of the pedestrian bridge across the Saigon River on April 30, 2025 and inaugurate it in 2027. The project is also Nutifood's heart and gratitude to millions of customers and people of Ho Chi Minh City who have supported the company's products in 25 years of establishment and development.
