On November 6, information from Son La Provincial Police said that the accident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on November 5 at Km261+400m of National Highway 6 in Co Noi village, Co Noi commune, Mai Son district.

At this time, the truck with license plate 88H - 003.50 driven by Mr. Nguyen Van L (born in 1983, residing in Quarter 1, Huong Canh Town, Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc) was traveling from Son La to Hanoi. When it reached the above location, it collided with the truck with license plate 51C - 956.97 driven by Mr. Phung Dinh D (born in 1988, residing in Thach Da, Me Linh District, Hanoi) traveling from Hanoi to Son La.

The accident left Mr. D seriously injured and trapped in the truck cabin.

Immediately upon receiving the information, the Fire Police and Rescue Force dispatched a vehicle with 8 officers to quickly approach the scene, urgently deploying forces and vehicles to coordinate with the Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 to carry out rescue work, bringing the victims out of the trapped location.

After a period of rescue efforts, the rescue team was able to get Mr. D out of the cabin, performed first aid and transferred the victim to Mai Son General Hospital. According to the initial diagnosis, the victim had an open fracture of the left tibia, with a lot of blood.
