Currently, Ho Chi Minh City Tax is managing nearly 362,000 business households, of which more than 345,000 households are paying taxes under the contract method. The transition to the declaration method is an inevitable requirement in the process of modernizing tax management, but also poses many difficulties for small households, elderly households, or households with little access to technology.

In parallel with the software support program, MISA also launched a nationwide 60-day and night peak coverage campaign determined to accompany businesses to switch from contract tax to declaration in the spirit of Decision 3352/QD-CT issued by the Tax Department. With the slogan "Going to every alley, knocking on every door, going to every market counter", thousands of MISA staff are closely following 63 provinces and cities, directly consulting - guiding - handing over free software to help people get acquainted early, declare correctly, pay standard taxes, and be ready before the time of abolishing contract tax on January 1, 2026.

Previously, MISA announced a program to provide free software for 2 million business households converting from contract tax to declaration according to Resolution 68-NQ/TW, receiving strong support from the Tax sector and 34 Provincial and Municipal Taxes. After only 1 day of announcement, more than 3,000 business households registered to receive free software. Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - Deputy General Director of MISA affirmed: MISA is committed to mobilizing resources to accompany the Vietnamese business community throughout the transition process, especially during the 60 days and nights of this receding water segment. MISA hopes to make tax declaration by business households simple - "not afraid of mistakes, no need to try, no need to worry about interruptions".
