The signing ceremony is one of the activities to implement Decision 3389/QD-BTC of the Ministry of Finance approving the Project on converting tax management models and methods when abolishing contract tax for business households, while promoting support for more than 340,000 business households in Ho Chi Minh City in the transition period from contract tax payment to tax declaration.

Supporting more than 340,000 business households in the conversion process
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City Tax is managing nearly 362,000 business households, of which more than 345,000 households are paying taxes under the contract method. The transition to the declaration method is an inevitable requirement in the process of modernizing tax management, but also poses many difficulties for small households, elderly households, or households with little access to technology.
Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Tax and MISA will coordinate to organize a series of conferences, seminars, and in-depth training at 29 Grassroots Taxes, while implementing online guidance for businesses to easily access information and operate right in the digital environment.
In addition, MISA arranged a team of technical experts and consultants to coordinate with tax officials to directly guide "hands-on" businesses throughout the area - from the center to suburban districts.
Ms. Mai Thi Nghia Le - Head of the Personal Tax Department, Other Business Households and Collectors, Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, said that the Tax sector will continue to provide policy guidance and direct training to each business household, ensuring that all people understand and implement it, including households not familiar with technology. At the same time, he highly appreciated MISA's practical solutions and accompanying programs for business households.
Free support for MISA eShop software - "6 in 1" solution for Business Households
Within the framework of cooperation, Ho Chi Minh City Tax continues to accompany and support MISA in implementing a 3-month free gift program using MISA eShop software for business households in the area to convert from contract tax to declaration. With the slogan "Going to every alley, knocking on every door, going to every market counter", thousands of MISA staff are closely following 63 provinces and cities, directly consulting - guiding - handing over free software to help people get acquainted early, declare correctly, pay standard taxes, and be ready before the time of abolishing contract tax on January 1, 2026.

In addition, MISA has built an Easy Tax Opening Knowledge portfolio our sales feel secure with more than 1,000 articles and video instructions, organized a livestream series to directly answer the new tax policy, and maintained an online consulting community to help businesses receive quick and timely support.
Previously, MISA announced a program to provide free software for 2 million business households converting from contract tax to declaration according to Resolution 68-NQ/TW, receiving strong support from the Tax sector and 34 Provincial and Municipal Taxes. After only 1 day of announcement, more than 3,000 business households registered to receive free software. MISA hopes to make tax declaration by business households simple - "not afraid of mistakes, no need to try, no need to worry about interruptions".
The signing of a cooperation agreement between Ho Chi Minh City Tax and MISA is an important step, contributing to modernizing tax management, improving transparency, and at the same time supporting the business community to confidently switch to tax declaration methods, ready to enter the digital era in business management and operations.
