Crowds switch to tax declaration
After more than 30 years of opening a grocery store in Hoan Kiem (Hanoi), Ms. Hoang Thi Le Nham (65 years old) has just converted from contract tax to tax declaration. Sharing with reporters, Ms. Nham said that when she was still healthy, her business was going well, based on revenue, she paid a contract tax of 2 million VND per month. However, since the COVID-19 outbreak, declining revenue has made the contract tax a burden for Ms. Nham.
Previously, I was healthy and did business in large quantities, so I received a contract tax of VND2 million/month. In recent years, due to old age, poor health, and low sales, the mid-range contract tax has become a burden. When I knew that I would pay taxes according to my revenue when I switched to declaration, I immediately registered to convert, Ms. Nham shared.

As soon as she mentioned the transition to declaration, Ms. Nham opened the MISA eShop application with a list of 49 items, many types of 2-3 products such as mineral water bottles, candy. In the early days of implementation, MISA staff guided Ms. Nham in detail and wholeheartedly, whenever she was in trouble at any time, Ms. Nham just needed to call to get a detailed answer. In her free time, Ms. Nham often attends online seminars and declaration instructions videos organized by MISA on social networks such as Facebook and Zalo.
Ms. Nham is one of 18,500 business households paying convertible taxes to the declaration method in the first 9 months of the year. After switching to declaration, realizing the benefits of declaration of taxes as convenient and simple, nearly 2,530 business households switched to the enterprise model. In addition, 98% of the number of business households declaring and paying taxes electronically; over 133,000 business households registered to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers.
